Carlene Williams

September 27, 1946 — February 4, 2022

Carlene (Polsley) Williams was born September 27, 1946 to Carl and Jean (Cheek) Polsley in Texhoma, Oklahoma.
She grew up a preacher’s kid and moved many times during her childhood. She has 3 sisters, Barbara Moore, Diane Babbitt, and Linda Polsley.

She graduated from U.S. Grant High School in 1964 where she sang Soprano in choir. She attended Midwest Christian College for 2 years. She then attended Dental Assistant School in Dallas until it shut down. She then moved to Tuttle with her parents where she met Jimmy Williams in 1969 at Tuttle Christian Church. They married December 22, 1969.
Carlene and Jimmy have three daughters, Kimberly Williams, Kelly Story, and Kacie Skaggs all of Tuttle.
Carlene worked in the medical field all her life and worked with many great doctors and nurses too numerous to count. She took great care of others and her patients. She retired in August of 2015.

Carlene had several hobbies including singing, playing the organ, reading, crafting, fishing, and watching football.
She is survived by her husband, Jimmy WIlliams, of Tuttle; sisters Barbara Moore of OKC, Diane Babbitt and husband Craig of Ostego, Michigan, and Linda Polsley and Rosa Martinez of San Antonio, Texas; daughters Kimberly WIlliams of Tuttle, Kelly Story and husband Justin of Tuttle, Kacie Skaggs and husband Shawn of Tuttle; grandchildren Jordan Pruitt and husband Dillion of Tuttle, Peyton Dix and boyfriend Adam of Tuttle, and Easton Dix of Tuttle; Khord and Sadie Story of Tuttle; Tashon,Yasmin, MiKole, and LaKrissa Skaggs of Tuttle; great grandchildren, Karson Stride and Makenna Hall of Tuttle; Sister-in-law Robby Williams, Brother-in-law and sister-in-law Ronnie and Cheryl Williams, Sister-in-law and brother-in-law Karen and Greg Williams.

She was preceded in death by her father Carl R. Polsley, her mother, Jean (Cheek) Polsley, her father-in-law Jim Williams, her mother-in-law, Loretta Williams, and brother-in-laws David Williams and Danny Moore.

Public visitation will be 6pm -8pm Thursday, February 10, 2022 at Tuttle Christian Church. A Celebration of Life service will be 11 am Friday, February 11, 2022 at Tuttle Christian Church with burial following at Fairview Cemetery.
