Adam Shoffit, 36, passed away on July 11, 2021, at home in Tuttle, OK.
Adam Shoffit was born on May 17, 1985 in Chickasha, OK, to Mark Shoffit and Tonna Shoffit. Adam attended Grand Elementary in Chickasha. He continued middle school and high school at Duncan High School where he graduated with the class of 2004. He went on to receive a scholarship playing basketball for the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma where he earned a bachelors degree. He started his career in banking and later made the change to run a successful business as a Water and Sewer Infrastructure Contractor with Shoffit Construction.
Adam married his high school sweetheart Andi Rush on July 19, 2008 in Duncan, Oklahoma. The couple was blessed with one son Preston Wayne, and two daughters, Parker Avery and Blair Alyssa. His wife and children were his whole world. He loved date night with his soul mate Andi, dancing in the living room with his girls, and watching his son excel at every sport he plays.
Adam was best known for his faith, love for his wife and children and passion for coaching little league basketball and football. He made a significant impact with his title of "Coach Adam." He was able to coach athletes at all levels to reach their personal best and share his love to WIN. He loved long talks on the phone with his Dad discussing strategies for the next game while checking wells, his moms homemade rolls and cakes, visiting Colorado and especially enjoyed the outdoors and hunting. Recently, he developed a love for cooking things like hamburgers, brisket and pulled pork on his Traeger and especially enjoyed hearing feedback from those eating the food he prepared for them.
