Anna M Fain

December 31, 1944 — December 26, 2023

Anna Fain, age 78, of Tuttle, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully Tuesday, December 26, 2023 at her home in Tuttle, Oklahoma.

Anna was born in Lancaster, New Hampshire on December 31st, 1944 to Mildred and Louis Lamotte, the sixth child out of seven.

When Anna was just 15 years old she moved to Stigler, OK from Vermont and met the love of her life, Gerald Fain. There was an immediate connection, and their love story began. The two were married on August 29, 1963 in Lunenburg, Vermont and were blessed with three children Kathryn Ann, Craig Lee, and Kris Lee. As a mom, Anna was present and provided everything her kids could need. As a Nana, she was always up for an adventure. Growing up, the Fain home was the place for friends and family alike. She was a mom figure to everyone around her.

After getting married, Anna and Gerald relocated multiple times, spanning states such as Georgia, Germany, and Vietnam. In 1967, they chose to return to Oklahoma, where they embraced raising their family. Anna's passions included gardening, hummingbirds, and crafting whenever time allowed.

Anna is described as small but mighty, sassy but faithful and someone who prayed the rosary daily and thought life was beautiful. She was loved by many and disliked by few. She also let her kids know that “if they ever put her in a nursing home, she would come back to haunt them”.

Anna is survived by daughter Kathy Clark and Gary; son Craig Fain and Nicole; son Kris Fain and Melissa; grandchildren, Maddison and Hunter Clark, Emma, Kalee, Ava, and Kristian Fain; sister Rachel Nason; brother; Rod Lamotte; brother Louie Lamotte; and sister Ruby Lauber; many nieces and nephews; and her faithful dog Lucille (who will be living with Maddi as voluntold by Nana).

She is preceded in death by her husband of 60 years Gerald Fain; parents Mildred and Louis Lamotte; sister Mary Peavey and brother Phil Lamotte.
