Arnold Ray Allred, age 83, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, passed away Saturday, November 18, 2023 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Arnold was born August 11, 1940 in Dardanelle, Arkansas, a son of Orvil and Josephine Allred. He attended Paron High School graduating with the class of 1958. Following graduation, Arnold joined the United States Navy where he served as a welder stationed in San Diego, California.

Arnold met the love of his life Jessie Ruth Foxx and the two were married February 15, 1961. He was proud to raise her three children Gail, John, and Craig as his own. Not long after, they welcomed two sons Robert Ray and David Allen to complete their family of five. Their fondest memories were spent having picnics, fishing, and visiting family in Arkansas. Arnold was a Dad all of his children could count on, could build anything, and very loving.

Arnold spent his career as a master welder retiring after working over 40 years in the industry. He had a work ethic that was second to none with a keen attention to detail. He spent the majority of his career welding tank batteries and skid units. He was proud of building the first CNG unit which is now a vital part of our transportation.

Arnold was known for his love for sitting on the front porch drinking coffee and eating Little Debbie powdered donuts waiting for his daily two o'clock meal at Golden Corral. He was a man of strong faith, prayer warrior, and lived a Christ like example everyday. Arnold attended Capitol Hill Assembly of God for many years.

Arnold is survived by his daughter Gail Bunch; son John Carter; son Craig Carter; son Robert Allred and Tambi; son David Allred and wife Vicki; nine granchildren Aaron Bunch and wife Tiffany; Josh Bunch; RoDonna Carter, Kaleb Allred and wife Brittany; Jacob Allred; Mikaela Cowan and husband Riley; Addison Krausse and husband Tanner; Rachel Allred; and Aidan Allred; seven great grandchildren Ethan Bunch, Maverick Bunch, Nolan Allred, Nixon Allred, Collins Cowan, Elle Cowan, and Brody Brunch; five siblings Marlin Allred, Lafayette Allred, Leo Allred, Betty Lambert and husband DeWayne, Barbara Calhoun and husband Jackie; along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Arnold is preceded in death by his wife of 37 years Jessie Ruth Allred; parents Orvil and Josephine Allred; sister Florina Woodall; and son-in-law Art Bunch.
