Clinton Harold Dement Jr, age 56, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, passed away Monday, February 24, 2025.

Clinton Dement Jr. was born on October 6, 1968, in Torrance, California, to Zettie and Clinton Dement Sr. As the eldest of three children—and the only son—he naturally took on the role of protector and role model for his two younger sisters. From a young age, Clinton displayed a strong sense of independence and determination, qualities that would define him throughout his life.

During his high school years, Clinton was an avid football player, embracing the discipline and camaraderie that came with the sport. It was during this time that he crossed paths with Troy Aikman, a connection that remained a fond memory for him. Though his football days came to an end after graduation, his passion for hard work and perseverance never wavered. Instead of taking a traditional route, Clinton jumped straight into the workforce, always chasing the next opportunity and never shying away from hard work. He had an entrepreneurial spirit and a relentless drive to provide for himself and those he loved.

Above all else, Clinton cherished his family. To his nieces and nephews, he was more than just an uncle—he was Uncle Squeak, their beloved confidant, protector, and friend. His easygoing nature and infectious personality made him the kind of person who never met a stranger. Whether he was in a crowded room or simply passing by someone on the street, Clinton had a way of making people feel seen, heard, and valued. His warmth and humor drew people to him effortlessly, and to know him was to love him.

Clinton’s legacy is one of kindness, resilience, and an unwavering love for those closest to him. He leaves behind countless cherished memories, laughter that will echo in the hearts of his loved ones, and an enduring reminder that a life well-lived is one filled with love, connection, and an open heart.

 He is survived by his sister Patricia Dement; sister Christine Witt; 8 nieces and nephews Patrick, Hannah, Wade, Travis, Joshua, Jacob, Chase, Abigail and many and extend family and friends. 

He is preceded by his mother Zettie Johnson; father Clinton Dement Sr; Uncle Jack Jewell; nephews Coree Sloan, Dustin Sloan, Chance Richardson and Andrew Witt.
