Cyrus Lee Stumpf

Cyrus Lee Stumpf, age 74, passed away on April 23, 2023, peacefuly at his home in Amber, OK.

Cyrus was born on February 9, 1949 in Chickasha, OK, to Betty and N.A. "Curly" Stumpf.

Cyrus was raised in Chickasha where he attended school. From a young age, working with his hands was his passion. He began work laying tile and always enjoyed working on cars. His tile career spanned over 20 years working for Parham Tile in Chickasha, OK.

Cyrus married Judy Jennings and the two were blessed with two children Kimberly Ann and Eric Lee. Cyrus was a Dad who worked hard and made showing up to his kids activities a priority. They enjoyed spending weekends at Lake Chickasha as a family spending time together at drag races and cruising the streets of Chickasha. He loved being Papa to his grandchildren Damon, Jacob, Wyatt, and Ellie. They were his world and he loved supporting them in their activities, playing games and being one of their biggest fans.

Cyrus was best known for pestering people. If he didn't give you a hard time, he didn't like you. His work ethic was second to none. He loved working for Mike Bradford at Blackbeard Directional Drilling and was happiest when he was busy, had work to do and was using his hands. Mike and his wife Kelly along with his buddies at Blackbeard were very special to him.

Cyrus is survived by his wife of 54 years Judy Stumpf; son Eric Stumpf and wife Kayla; grandson Damon Stumpf and wife Danielle; grandson Jacob Tilley; grandson Wyatt Stumpf; granddaughter Ellie Stumpf; brother Raymond Stumpf and wife Sharron; brother Elbert Stumpf and wife Deborah; brother John Stumpf and wife Sherri; sister Sheila Bailey; brother Jimmy Stumpf and wife Debbie, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Cyrus is preceded in death by his parents Betty and N.A. "Curly" Stumpf; step father Ronald Terry; sister Shelly Stumpf; and daughter Kimberly Stumpf.
