Dana Leigh Jennings, 62, of Tuttle, Oklahoma, went home to be with her Savior Tuesday, August 1, 2023 after an extended illness. Dana was born March 31, 1961 in Oklahoma City the youngest daughter of Doris and Leo Jennings. She had two older sisters Lori and Carla. She loved her sisters dearly and their close relationship with one another. During her father's military service in the Air Force, the family lived multiple places until settling in Oklahoma where she graduated with the Tuttle High School Class of 1979. She started her career at Tinker Air Force Base in 1979 and retired from Tinker with nearly 37 years of service. She retired as the B-52 Tech Services Section Chief after serving as the Cruise Missile Tech Services Section Chief. She was very close to her parents throughout her life. At different times, she lived with her parents and eventually built a home near them where she served as a devoted care giver. Dana was a very loving and giving aunt who loved her nieces and nephews dearly. A caregiver at heart, Dana retired early in order to care for uncle Gary, aunt Deanna, and totally committed to her parents. She enjoyed taking care of her acreage, reading books, watching movies with a good mystery or detective story. She was a woman of strong faith and cherished the relationship she had with her small group while attending Eagle Heights Church.
Dana is survived by her sister Lori Hill and husband Jim; sister Carla Jennings; niece Danielle Shankle and husband Jayson; niece Tara Gibson and husband Marquise; nephew Jarod Fenly; nephew Christopher Hill; great nieces and nephews Ashlyn, Amelia, Jaydan, Pierce, and Finn; uncle George Jennings, and numerous cousins and friends.
Dana is preceded in death by her parents Doris and Leo Jennings.
