Eddie Keith Cantrell

Eddie Keith Cantrell, age 76, of Alex, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully surrounded by family, Tuesday, March 26, 2024 at his home in Alex, Oklahoma.
Eddie was born June 09, 1947 in Quannah, Texas, a son of Floyd and Dessie Cantrell. He attended school in Lubbock, Texas where he graduated with the Coronado High School class of 1966.
Eddie married the love of his life, Linda Hungerford March 19, 1966 in Clovis, New Mexico. They were blessed with their son Robert, daughter Laura Christine, and God daughter Nakole. He was a father who loved his children dearly and provided them with love and support throughout their lives. He was a proud Paw Paw to his grandchildren Shelby, Lilly, Edward, Jake, Josh, and Noe'. Eddie loved attending their events, spending time with them, and watching them grow and find their path.
Eddie was happiest when serving his community. He was the Founder and President of the Dibble Senior Center since 2007. They developed a food pantry for seniors and patrons of the Dibble community. The pantry is in its new location that Eddie made sure was purchased before he got ill. EC/GGTW
Eddie is survived by his wife of 58 years Linda, son Robert Cantrell; daughter Christine McAfee and husband Jeremy; God-daughter Nakole Lanham; grandchildren Shelby McAfee; Lilly McAfee, Edward Cantrell, Jake McAfee, Josh McAfee, and Noe' Acevedo, along with a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins...too many to name.
Eddie is preceded in death by his parents Dessie and Floyd Cantrell; brother Joe Mark Cantrell; and grandparents Frances and Edward Cantrell.
