Floyd Edgar Marshall, age 82, of Tuttle, Oklahoma, passed away Saturday, February 1, 2025 at his home in Tuttle, Oklahoma.
Floyd was born on August 13, 1942, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to Faye and Charley Marshall. From a young age, he developed a strong work ethic and an adventurous spirit. During his high school years, Floyd excelled in baseball, spent countless hours riding horses, and worked every chance he got. After graduating, he proudly enlisted in the United States Air Force where he demonstrated his keen attention to detail and dedication. Floyd was a God fearing man who loved God and shared his faith with others.
While in Lompac, California, Floyd met and married with Carolyn Pair. From that union they had three boys: Dale, Chuck, and Steve Marshall. As a father, Floyd was firm but fair, always striving to instill values of hard work, integrity, and perseverance in his children. He was deeply involved in their lives, coaching their baseball teams, driving the school bus, and serving as the President of the School Board. Beyond his formal roles, he took great joy in sharing adventures with his boys—whether it was camping at the lake, teaching them how to waterski, or simply being present in their daily lives.
Later in life, Floyd found his soulmate in Connie Wiseman, whom he married on May 9, 1991, in Denton, Texas. Together, they shared a deep love for the outdoors, often spending time on horseback and enjoying the peaceful rhythm of trail riding. Their years together were filled with companionship, laughter, and an unwavering devotion to one another.
Floyd was an avid team roper who loved the competition and camaraderie. Floyd is one of dedication—to his family, his community, and the values he held dear. He leaves behind cherished memories for all who had the privilege of knowing him. His presence will be deeply missed, but his influence will continue to live on in the lives of those he touched.
He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Connie Marshall; son Dale Marshall and wife Joyce; son Chuck Marshall and wife Mary; son Steve Marshall; grandson Joe Marshall and wife Leah; grandson Joshua Marshall and wife Whitney; granddaughter Jordan Marshall; grandson Daniel Marshall and wife Aubri; great-granddaughter Maisie; great-granddaughter Akana; great-grandson Riley; great-granddaughter Pelei; great-grandson Grant; sister Charlene Willis and many family and friends.
