Gerald Lee Fain

December 7, 1944 — July 3, 2023

Gerald Lee Fain, age 78, of Tuttle, Oklahoma, passed away Monday, July 3, 2023 at his home in Tuttle, Oklahoma.

Gerald was born December 07, 1944 in Fort Smith, Arkansas, the only child of Ann and Orbie Fain. He was raised in Stigler, OK where he was involved in band and graduated with the Stigler High School class of 1963.

He met the love of his life, Anna Lamotte when she moved to Stigler, OK from Vermont when both were 15 years old. There was an immediate connection and their love story began. The two were married on August 29, 1963 in Lunenburg, Vermont. They were blessed with three children Kathy Ann, Craig Lee, and Kris Lee. As a Dad, he loved being outdoors with his children. They would go camping, compete in fishing tournaments and staying in tents together. Growing up, the Fain home was the place for kids to be.

Gerald entered the United States Army serving in Germany and Vietnam where earned multiple medals and was named an expert rifleman. Following his time in the service, he went to work for Scrivner Foods and later Fleming Foods. While working, Gerald attended night school at Rose State College where he earned his Associates Degree.

Gerald was happiest when he was outdoors with the birds and working with his hands. He enjoyed landscaping his own lawn as well as the entrance to Hill's Whispering Lakes for many years. Because of his love for technology, he was always the families go to IT guy. People could count on Gerald to have the latest and greatest electronics. He was also a fan of western movies and TV shows.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years Anna Fain; three children, daughter Kathy Clark (Gary); son Craig Fain (Nicole Burris); Kris Fain (Melissa Dixon); grandchildren, Maddison and Hunter Clark, Emma, Kalee, Ava, and Kristian Fain; Pop's faithful K-9 companion and riding partner Lucy.

He is preceded in death by his parents Ann and Orbie Fain.
