Henry Wayne Biddy was born on March 13, 1939 in Tuttle, OK. to Opal Fern (Marlow) & Delbert Zelotes Biddy. He passed away on September 29, 2022 in OKC.
As a kid he was always doing something that got him in trouble. There are many stories of Henry & his antics - too many to mention. He liked having a nice car but sometimes drove too fast. He liked to look nice - liked his hair cut and dressed in nice clothes, because he said his mother didn't want him looking like an 'alley rat'.
He loved to hunt and fish as a kid & adult though he didn't get to do too much of that later in life. He had a place at Lake Texoma and he always felt he needed a boat!
Loved & adored his wife, Oleta, and was devastated by her sudden loss. She was the love of his life. His faith in God kept him going and he was back teaching his Sunday School class right after the bombing.
Henry was so proud of his son Daniel and loved him very much. Henry thought Daniel was extremely smart, really strong, hardworking, could make or fix anything, and thought he was a calm, quiet leader, good husband, father & grandpa. Called him "My Son or My Boy"
Henry loved his daughter-in-law, Jeannean. Jeannean & Oleta worked together at the Social Security Office and when Henry first met her, he prayed that Daniel would find someone like her to marry! Well, they did! Henry picked her first! Henry really believed in the power of prayer! He thought Jeannean was a good wife, mother and grandmother and he loved hearing her sing! Called her "My Girl"
Henry was thankful for his wife, Billie and for her love, companionship, and care. He always said that he wouldn't know what to do if she weren't there to take care of him.
Henry loved to watch his grandsons do anything - play football, run track, show pigs, play basketball, jump on their trampoline, work in the yard or on their cars, wrestle with each other, or just hang out with their friends. Henry was always giving them money. He felt that God had blessed him, and he wanted to help the boys get a good start in their lives. He was so proud of their accomplishments - getting baptized, making good grades, playing sports, going to the AF Academy and to college, getting married, getting jobs and being good hard workers. Called them "My Boys"
And his great-granddaughters, McKinley, Claire & Blake - WOW! He loved, loved, loved them! He would say, "they are the most beautiful girls, smart & talented". He was so proud of them and could not get enough of being with them & watching them grow. He sat for hours watching photos and videos of them when they weren't around. Called them "My Girls"
He was so proud and pleased that all his family were Christians and that they worked and supported their own home church.
He was strong in his belief in God. He was baptized at the age of 10 years old in Fredrick, OK. He felt humbled that God could love him so much. He always said "I am so blessed!" Henry was always looking for a way to give back to God for His blessings. He was a Deacon & Trustee at FBC Tuttle and at one time sang in the choir, taught Sunday School, worked in the nursery and was on the Building & Grounds Committee & Landscaping Committees.
He was a good janitor at the church because he felt that it was his ministry and he worked hard to keep the church clean for members & visitors. He was always saying "Company's Coming"
He was passionate about OU football and had season tickets for years!!
He enjoyed watching Tuttle sports, especially when his grandkids were playing!
He loved to work in his yard and mow his grass because he liked how it looked afterwards. He loved his trees & flowers and growing a garden and was excited when spring came because he could start it all over again! He liked to spend time in his shop and could build or repair just about anything!
He served on the OEC Roundup Board, Grady Co. Industrial Authority, Tuttle Board of Adjustments, Tuttle Planning Commission, Tuttle City Commission and served as Tuttle Mayor.
He served 2 years in the United States Air Force
He worked at Lucent Technology (AT&T) for many years and retired from there.
He had 2 sisters and 1 brother, several brothers-in law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and many, many friends.
