Kaden Dale Johnson

Kaden Dale “Scrunch” Johnson, age 20, of Amber-Pocasset, Oklahoma, passed away Wednesday, February 7, 2024 in Pocasset, Oklahoma. Following a long battle with mental health, he made a decision in the moment that seemed to be the answer for a lifetime.

Kaden was born October 22, 2003 in Norman, Oklahoma, a son of Michael and Tina Johnson. He had five siblings Cindy, Stephanie, "Snoot", Megan, and "Hootie". From a young age, Kaden was a boy who loved to run, jump, and pretend he was a WWE wrestler by leaping off the couch. He was a one of a kind soul who was fascinated with outer space and the galaxy. Kaden received a telescope this past Christmas and loved looking at the moon. He even had family get in line while he showed them that he could see the Am-Po school sign through the telescope from their house.

Kaden was very close with his grandparents and admired his Pa. He admired how strong he was and how big his hands were. Kaden was an avid gamer and found a community by gaming with others online. A momma's boy at heart, Kaden gave the best hugs, and had a huge smile on his face at all times.

Kaden had the heart of a caregiver and was proud to take care of his Pa and mowing the lawn for his grandma he lovingly referred to as "Mom." He enjoyed working in the pit at Ken's Steakhouse, and helping his Dad on the family farm. While their family raised beef, he often preferred chicken, unless it was a prime rib at Ken's.

Kaden is survived by his parents, Tina and Michael Johnson; sister Cindy Maples and husband Brad; sister Stephanie Johnson; sister Trina "Snoot" Baumgartner and husband Brady; sister Megan Canoy and husband Christian; brother Kolten "Hootie" Johnson and fiancé Lindsay Conger ; grandparents Linda and Dale Turner; along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Kaden is preceded in death by his grandparents Dorothy and J.C. Johnson; and Uncle Bobby Johnson and Aunt Wanda Sue Base.
