Malessa Kay Robinson

Funeral services for Mrs. Malessa Kay Robinson, age 56, of Blanchard, Oklahoma will begin at 11:00am Friday, March 14, 2025, in The Chapel of Tribute Memorial Care Southwest, 5311 OK-37 in Tuttle, Oklahoma with Celebrant Amy Borazjani presiding.

Malessa was born on Monday, July 29, 1968, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma the daughter of Fred Kenneth and Bertha Mae (Smith) McKinney. She passed away on Monday, March 10, 2025 at the HealthPlex in Norman, Oklahoma. Malessa attended Tuttle Public Schools being the first member of her family to complete her education, graduating from Tuttle High School in May of 1987. She later married Mr. Donald Gene Robinson on Friday, May 15, 1987, in Tuttle. Malessa worked in the Dairy Farm industry until poor health forced her into retirement in 2005.

Malessa enjoyed listening to music and enjoyed singing along with her favorite songs. She enjoyed being outside in her garden, growing beautiful flowers. Malessa also loved arts and crafts, collecting neat and unique items. She enjoyed being with her family and friends and will be remembered fondly by those that loved and cared for her.

Survivors include her husband of nearly 38 years, Donald, of the home in Blanchard; two sons, Logan Gene Robinson and his husband, Adam Spurgeon of Norman, OK and Kalub Lynn Robinson of Oklahoma City; one brother, Paul Kenneth McKinney and his wife, Ruth of Kansas; and two sisters, Doris Silva of Pink, OK and Veta Mantooth and her husband, Haskell of Lindsay, OK.

Malessa was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Shirley Klima.

Burial will conclude in the Fairview Cemetery in Tuttle under the direction of the O’Hara family and Tribute Memorial Care Southwest of Tuttle, Oklahoma
