Mary Lou Williams, age 78, of Tuttle, Oklahoma, passed away Saturday, June 1, 2024 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Mary was born November 14, 1945 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, a daughter of Thelma and Ernest Glazier. She was raised alongside her siblings Phyllis, Melvin, and Maytha. Mary attended South East High School graduating with the class of 1964.

Mary was introduced to Paul Williams while at a skating rink. The two fell madly in love and were married September 26, 1964 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The couple were blessed with three children Kimberley Dawn, Stacye Michelle, and Kendall Paul. She taught her children independence, the ability to cook, the importance of serving others, and to always do your best. She was a proud "Meme" to her 18 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren with one on the way.

Mary was raised Baptist and continued to lean into her faith throughout her life. She was active in church teaching Sunday School, working in the nursery, cooking meals, and enjoyed traveling for mission trips with Builders for Christ. Mary was a member of Woodland Hills Baptist Church.
Mary worked in, owned, and operated a number of businesses including Light Ideas, Rainbow Fun Emporium Skating Rink, a home day care, Guardian Angel Food Program, and was a medical transcriber. She was a talented seamstress and especially gifted at quilting which lead her to be a member of several quilting guilds.

Mary is survived by her daughter Kim Martin and husband Tommy; son Kendall Williams and wife Melanie; daughter Stacye Schlickbernd and husband Dan; 18 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren with one on the way, and a host of other family and friends.

Mary is preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years Paul Williams; parents Thelma and Ernest Glazier; sister Phyllis M Springer; brother Melvin Glazier, and sister Maytha Lewis.

A Celebration of Life service in Mary's honor will be held 11 am Saturday, June 15, 2024 at Tribute Memorial Care Southwest in Tuttle, Oklahoma.
