Paul Ray Miller

Paul Miller, 71, passed away on July 14, 2022, in Oklahoma City, OK.

Paul was born in Dr Kolb's clinic on June 9, 1951 in Blanchard, OK, to Roy Miller and Loretta (Garrett) Miller. He lived in a small farmhouse on the Grady County side of county line. He attended Bridge Creek, OK school until the family moved to Newcastle, OK where he graduated with the class of 1971.

Paul married Patricia Lay in 1973 and from that union was blessed with two sons David Joseph and Carl Ray. Paul spent much of his life working to provide for his family and was usually always able to find time to help others that needed it. He would spend his spare time with his family watching TV, taking lake trips to fish for sand bass, or just be out in the yard working and teaching his sons how to do the many things he knew. He was a man of many lessons and he always found the most unique way to teach them.

Paul was best known for his passion and drive to help others in need, playing pranks and telling jokes, and his love for potato wedges and snickers bars. He loved watching western movies, growing a garden, taking trips with his grandkids and spending as much time with them as he could. He loved talking old cars with anyone willing to talk about it with him.

Paul is survived by his son David Miller and wife Charity; son Carl and wife Kayleen; sister Evelyn York; grandchildren Destanie, Rylie, Mikaela, Kelsi, Lexi, Maddi, Alison, Tiernan and Noah Gene; niece Jennifer Turner and husband Scott, niece Melissa York; nephew Chris Morris and wife Brandy; nephew Raymond Allen York; nephew Tim York; grand niece Julia Turner; grand nephew Carter Morris and sister in law Marsha Miller.

Paul is preceded in death by his parents Roy and Loretta Miller and his big brother Gene Miller.
