Russell Wayne Perry was born May 7th 1956 in Oklahoma City to Paul Edward Perry and Phyllis Fonsene Perry and passed from this earth on August 19th, 2023 in his lifelong home.
He is proceeded in death by both his parents. His mom passed in May of 1956 shortly after giving birth to him, during a surgery to remove a brain tumor that was found while she was pregnant with Russell. She would have been the best mother and wanted him more than life itself. He is also proceeded by his maternal grandparents Thecla E. Burrow and James Otto Burrow (the nicest man he ever knew) who taught him how to be kind to people and his maternal step grandmother Laura Evelyn Burrow who helped take care of him growing up. He is also proceeded in death by his paternal grandparents who helped to raise him. Eugene Perry (who taught him to be a man’s man) and Gertie Lou Perry who taught him to be clean, polite, and a good person. His Uncle Marion Perry also proceeded him in death and was the funniest guy he knew and cousin Doris Phillips. Lastly, Russell is proceeded in death by his only son Zachariah Wayne Perry who tragically passed from this earth on April 11th, 2021. His reunion with all of these loved ones will be a true party, and meeting his mother will fill the void in his heart that has always been there.
Russell is survived by his daughter Jennifer Trishelle McDoulett and husband Jade of Tuttle. His grandchildren Rowdy Colt McDoulett and wife Bailey, Victoria Kaylin Perry, Trinity Kay Hennigh and husband Riley, Falcon Claw McDoulett and wife Morgan, Whisper Fawn Weatherington and husband Jalen, Destiny Ann Perry, and Mystery Gazelle McDoulett. Great grandchildren Arrow Trail McDoulett, River Wade Hennigh, Glacier Belay McDoulett, Shiloh Joy Hennigh, and Prairie Ann McDoulett. He is also survived by his companion Christina Hart of Oklahoma City and his Aunt Dorthy Perry, Aunt Linda Burrow Johnson, and cousins Jill Nuckolls, Carl Perry, and Deborah Applegate.
Russell worked for over 40 years as a surveyor for 3 different companies, Davilla Engineering, Red Plains, and Hale Surveying. He was excellent at his job and took great pride in perfection. He was a collector of antique and nostalgic toys, and loved classic cars. He was a member of the John Birch Society, a proud American and politically activist. He loved his animals and was an avid music enthusiast. He was passionate about many things and made his passions known.
