Vivian Gayle Jones

Vivian Jones, 60, passed away on March 22, 2022, in Oklahoma City, OK following a battle with blood cancer.

Vivian was born on December 16, 1961 at Travis Air Force Base, California to Carol and Wilbur Bartholomew. She was raised with her three siblings Eric, Laura and Wilbur. Following high school graduation, she attended college and went on to work as a Paramedic for 20 years.

Vivian was the mother to four children Rebecca, Melissa, Mary, and Joseph.

Vivian was a passionate volunteer for cadaver dogs, showed Welsh ponies, worked EMS in Oklahoma, South Carolina and California as well as a firefighter in South Carolina and Oklahoma.

Vivian is survived by her father Wilbur Bartholomew; daughter Rebecca Buss; daughter Mary Jones; son Joe Jones; daughter Melissa Scharlach; her nine grandchildren Harlow, Ethan, Autumn, Trevor, Jaxxin, Baylee, Ashlynn, Zayden and Ellapreet ; brother Eric Bartholomew and sister Laura Davis.

Vivian is preceded in death by her mother Carol Bartholomew; grandmother Catherine Moshier; grand daughter Journey Reign Jones; brother Wilbur Bartholomew, Jr.; uncle Brian Moshier and aunt Eleanor Thompson.
